Instructions for use: The method of adding titanium boron grain refiner is very simple, and the required amount of refiner is directly put into the aluminum molten pool. During the sinking process, the reaction starts, and due to the gas generation of the salt, a large amount of gas is generated around the block, and the block floats up. During the ascent, the gas around the block escapes and the block sinks. In repeated up and down movements, until the reaction is complete. Titanium in the bulk reacts with boron and aluminum to form TiAI3 and TiB2 or (AITi)B2 forming the core of the aluminum grains, and during the reaction, fumes and flames are generated on the surface of the aluminum melt. Under normal circumstances, the color of the flame is white, red and blue, and the height of the flame is about 200mm. Due to the gasification of the flux, the aluminum melt around the block is purified. In this way, titanium and boron are absorbed to the maximum extent by the aluminum melt and fully play the role of grain core.
