The matching method between the working inner sleeve of the extrusion barrel and the mold should be selected according to the production of aluminum alloy products. On the horizontal extruder, two matching methods are generally used: the flat sealing method, that is, the sealing between the extrusion cylinder and the end face of the die is in a plane contact manner. The advantages are that it is easy to process, simple to operate, the unit pressure on the end face of the mold and the inner lining is relatively small, and it is not easy to be crushed and deformed. The disadvantage is that the sealing performance is poor. If the tightening force is not enough, or the contact surface is uneven, the deformed metal will easily overflow from the contact surface to form a "big cap".
Try to keep the lining of the extrusion cylinder intact, or use a gasket to clean the lining in time. If the extrusion tool is seriously worn or there is dirt in the bushing of the extrusion cylinder, the inner liner is not cleaned with the cleaning pad in time, and it is not replaced in time, it will cause shrinkage (at the end of some extrusion products, after low Double inspection, there is a horn-like phenomenon in the middle part of the cross-section, which is called shrinking).
If the inner lining of the extrusion cylinder is worn too much, the mold cannot be firmly fixed, resulting in eccentricity, which will cause uneven wall thickness of the extruded profile.
