The material of the extrusion aluminum profile mold is H13 steel. The mold needs to be nitrided before it can be used. The whole set of mold consists of three parts: positive mold, mold pad and mold sleeve. The following focuses on the structure of the positive mode.
1. Working belt: The size of the cavity is used. The working belt is perpendicular to the working end face of the mold and forms the shape of the profile. The length of the working belt is too short, and the size of the aluminum profile is difficult to stabilize. If the working belt is too long, it will increase the metal friction effect and increase the extrusion force. Easy to bond metal.
2. Empty knife: ensure the passage of the profile, the quality of the aluminum material and the life of the mold.
3. Deflector (slot): Set a transition shape between the aluminum rod and the aluminum product to reduce the deformation process.
4. Diverter hole: The channel, shape, section size, number and different arrangement of aluminum passing through the hole directly affect the extrusion quality, extrusion force and life. The number of shunt holes is as small as possible to reduce welding lines. Increase the area of the shunt hole and reduce the extrusion force.
5. Diverting bridge: its width is related to the strength of the mold and the metal flow.
6. The mold core: determines the size and shape of the inner cavity.
7. Welding room: the place where metal gathers and welds.
